On the afternoon of Jan 16, Mayor Zhang Mingkang went for on-site inspections on the ecological environmental protection work and correction of problems assigned by the central inspection team. He highlighted that we should stick to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, deeply implement the guiding principle of provincial and municipal plenary sessions and municipal “two sessions” and address both symptoms and root causes and build beautiful Yancheng with more practical and substantial measures.
During the inspection, Zhang Mingkang stressed that the work on ecological and environmental protection relates to citywide overall development and people’s well-being. All departments should enhance political stance and seriously learn Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and promote the synergy of high-quality development and high-level protection. By taking this as an opportunity, we should improve the responsibility division and implement the “river chief” mechanism and devote to building an example of co-existence between human and nature.
